PLATO SYMBOLOGY

The Hyades and Plato Collections have been inspired by the wonderful symbols of the elements as established by the Greek philosopher, Plato.

He reconised that these different elements come together to create the universe as we know it. They provide the foundation that everything is built upon. What could be more powerful than embodying each of these elements with our statement jewelry?

When open, these clasps symbolise both fire and water. When closed, the clasps symbolise both earth and air.

It was important for us to create something that is beautiful, of high quality, yet embodying a concept of resounding substance. 

These pieces can be worn by both men and women and these unique clasps are sure to grab attention of those with sophistication. 

The Plato Collection has been carefully crafted using solid 18kt gold. The chains are handmade. 18kt gold was specifically selected because of it's beautiful and unique colour. Unlike 14kt, which is more yellow-gold, 18kt has deeper tone that sits more subtly on the skin, fitting with the philosphy of our jewelry collections.
